This is a fine and comfortably equipped family home in a semi rural setting of Generac. The village with all basic shops and a restaurant is in walking distance to the house. The restaurant "Les Calades" is a nice place that offers pizza and regional meals. Positioned on the southern edge of the Golden Triangle of Provence, it is only 14km due south of Nimes which has one of the best preserved examples of a Roman temple,the Maison Carree. Its Roman arena is still used regularly for all sorts of shows and the old town centre is renowned for its boutiques, cafes and restaurants as well as a covered market "les halles" with fresh produce delivered everyday. The neighbouring villages of Vauvert, Beauvoisin and St Gilles are worth a visit and the Camargue and numerous seaside resorts are not very far away. An 18-hole golf course is 4km away. Avignon (45Km); Arles (28Km); Montpellier or the beautiful Alpilles range are within easy reach.

DETAILS OF ACCOMMODATION

The property is set in 4,000m2 of landscaped garden large enough to play petanque, crocket or ball. There are also a small child s playhouse and a swimming pool (12.5m x 5.5m x 1.7m max. depth) a few steps below the summer kitchen adjoining the house.
